1. Who is responsible

This website is run by Christoph Katzer (sole proprietor), the controller for the processing described here. Contact: [email protected]. See also the imprint.

2. Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20), to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21), and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77). To exercise any of these rights, write to the address above.

3. Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on servers in the EU. When you visit, the server automatically records technical data your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). The data is not combined with other sources.

4. Cloudflare

Requests to this site pass through Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which provides the domain's name service, encryption and protection against attacks. Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data for this purpose (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a secure and reliable site). Data may be processed in the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Cookie consent

The cookie banner records your choice in your browser's local storage under the key rf_consent, so you are not asked on every page. Storing that choice is necessary to respect it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No analytics run until you click "Accept all". You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the cookie settings.

6. Google Analytics

Only if you consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It sets cookies (names starting with _ga, kept for up to two years) and records how the site is used: pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate location, device and browser. Google does not store full IP addresses in Google Analytics 4. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google Consent Mode is set to "denied" until you agree. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). More: policies.google.com/privacy.

7. PulseKit

Only if you consent, this site also uses PulseKit, an analytics and heatmap tool we run ourselves on our own server at IONOS in Germany (pulsekit.chriskatzer.com). It records pages viewed, clicks and scroll depth, the referring page, device and browser type, and an approximate country derived from your IP address on our server. The data stays with us and is not shared with third parties. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

8. Fonts

All typefaces on this site are hosted on our own server. No fonts are loaded from Google Fonts or any other third-party service, so viewing the site sends no data to a font provider.

9. YouTube videos

The trailer is embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click "Watch the trailer". When you do, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address, and YouTube may set cookies inside its own player. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, your consent given by starting the video. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

10. Links to other sites

Links to Discord, Steam and other platforms are plain links. Nothing is sent to those services until you click one; from then on, their own privacy policies apply.

This policy is updated when the site's data processing changes. Last updated: 31 October 2026.
